Where's Waldo? Scavenger Hunt
Old Town Books JR has organized this summer’s Where’s Waldo scavenger hunt in Old Town, a nationwide celebration of community and local businesses in conjunction with Candlewick Press and the American Booksellers Association. Stop by the bookstore to pick up your Waldo Stamp Card, then hunt down Waldo in 19 other participating local businesses within walking distance. You have all of July to get as many stamps on your card as you can and collect prizes! Cards must be returned to Old Town Books, where prizes will be awarded for various levels of completion (see rules below).
Stamp cards are only available at Old Town Books, where your scavenger hunt begins.
Rules for the Month-Long Event:
- You have all of July to find Waldo in 20 businesses including ours!
- A completed stamp card (20 stamps!) entitles you to enter our raffle for prizes from Old Town Books and participating businesses.
- Drawing will take place at our Waldo Celebration–with ice cream!--on July 31 from 4:30-5:30pm (do not have to be present to win).
- 10 stamps earns you a Waldo sticker 15 spots or more earns you a Waldo sicker AND a store coupon for 10% off a one-time purchase at Old Town Books JR before Labor Day
